WHISKNLADLE

Whisknladle is named after an underground supper club and is a tribute to all those like it where total strangers come together in celebration of food, wine & conversation. There, food hobbyists get to explore their passion for all things culinary without being tainted or driven by the fiscal pressures of running a restaurant. With that very spirit and the principles of slow food as our guide, we opened our doors in 2008.

Slow Food is a way of living and a way of eating. It is a global grassroots movement that links the pleasure of food & wine with a commitment to community and environment. For us, just as important as how food tastes is where it comes from and the tradition and process in making it. That is why we work with local ranchers, farmers and fisherman to provide you with the best possible product in the most conscientious way...That is also why we take time to bake, cure, pickle, churn everything in house.

Julia Child’s once said, “You don’t have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces, just good food from fresh ingredients.” Nothing could be closer to the truth.
